Mango Frooti is a commercially available drink liked by all age group.During summer i buy slice,frooti considering it has real fruit in it.But those drinks have preservatives and may have additional colour also they undergo lot of processing.Making of mango frooti i never imagined.Its so simple without any additives,preservatives ,with natural colour and of course with the joy of making from scratch.

Cracked Wheat one of the nutritious grain.Cracked wheat also called 'samba gothumai' in Tamil ,'broken wheat' in English and 'daliya' in Hindi.I love broken wheat ,it is such a fibrous grain.We take it at least once in a week.You can prepare upma,yogurt rice,biryani,payasam,sambar rice,bisibelabath with broken wheat or You can simply cook samba kothumai with 2-3 cups of water and have with yogurt/sambar.

Gobi masala - an easy dry masala curry, made with cauliflower.When ever cauliflowers are in season i used to buy them.Make cauliflower soup and cauliflower pepper fry just like broccoli pepper fry or make Gobi paratha.Cauliflower can be great addition to pav bhaji, vegetable kuruma, veg biriyani,Veg pulao mix veg curry or pirattal .Each of them is comforting in its own way.

Good people around and good food is something that will make your day even when you are at your toughest times. It is said that good food is the best way to please one’s husband. But, it is not always possible to prepare good food the entire time try. Sometimes an extra pinch of salt can ruin your dish. It is also not possible to try all your favorite cuisine at home all the time you urge for it. You need to go out and have it to feel the taste. Rava idli is a renowned breakfast in South India.Rava idli is a type of Instant idli prepared with sooji/cream of wheat.There is no need of grinding or fermentation for making rava idli.To make the idli fluffy you can add baking soda or eno fruit salt.Without baking soda or eno fruit salt (leavening agents) rava idli is going to be hard and rubbery, as opposed to being soft and spongy.

Mooli Paratha- a delicious paratha made with grated radish and Indian spices.Paratha's are delicious and healthy flat bread made with whole wheat flour and is consumed in northern part of India.I love paratha.Paratha is simple in itself ,with all the spices and veggies with nutrition its wholesome too, also can be made quick compared to chapathi or roti. A simple yogurt or pickle is more than enough to gobble a few paratha.I simply love any paratha be it Chana paratha,aloo paratha,mooli paratha or this mooli paratha.
